Meet Dr. Mimi Theerathada
Mimi Theerathada, DMD, is a highly skilled dentist serving patients from all over the Greater Los Angeles Area at Westlake Smile Studio’s welcoming office in Westlake Village, California. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Dr. Mimi moved to California at the age of 16. She went on to attend the University of California, Irvine where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Studies. In 2007, after completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Mimi obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Mimi specializes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry services that transform the smiles of her patients, including state-of-the-art Nobel Biocare® And Straumann® implants, teeth whitening, and laser dentistry. Her patients appreciate her caring and empathetic nature as much as they value her knowledge and expertise. She cares for adult patients with varied oral health and cosmetic concerns. Outside of the office, Dr. Mimi believes in giving back. She has spent time volunteering in free dental clinics, providing crucial oral health care for the less privileged, and remains committed to continuing education and keeping up with the latest advancements in oral health and dentistry. When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Mimi enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs: Judo and Murphy. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Dr. Mimi moved to California at 16 years old. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Studies from the University of California, Irvine, followed by her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Since graduating from dental school in 2007, Dr. Mimi has taken advanced courses at the most prestigious institutions, primarily focusing on full mouth rehabilitation. She established Westlake Smile Studio because she wanted dentistry to be about health, self-care, and self-love in a safe space where dentistry is no longer scary, painful, or intimidating. She specializes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry services that transform her patients’ smiles, including state-of-the-art dental implants from Nobel Biocare® and Straumann®, teeth whitening, and laser dentistry. Dr. Mimi believes in giving back and volunteers her services at free dental clinics, where she provides crucial oral health care to less privileged patients.

Dr. Law received her dental degree and certificate in advanced periodontology from the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. Her philosophy is to treat patients how she would want to be treated, with kindness and compassion. Dr. Au earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He furthered his expertise in endodontics through a two-year residency program at the University of Southern California.
